Whether you consider it a blessing or a curse, New England is known for its four distinct seasons and the frozen ground and snowfall of winter are rarely a fence builder’s friend.
Like you, we never know what mother nature quite has in store for us-- a mild January might bring in many customers and a heavy one just a few. But regardless of weather, we’re never ones to sit on our thumbs and wait for spring’s thaw. Our headquarters in Stoughton remains busy with action as we re-stock, re-organize, and re-energize for the busy season that will be on us again before you can say “picket fence”!
AVO Fence & Supply Celebrates Winter
Wondering just what we’re up to during the winter months at AVO Fence & Supply? This winter we’ve got a number of projects that will help our customers and contractors accomplish great things in the spring. A reason to celebrate? We think so.
- We’re building our network, attending conferences and expos like New England GROWS
- We’re making our new website even better, including a new series of contractor interviews here on the blog
- We’re manufacturing fence to restock and replenish our shops for spring. (Did you know AVO manufactures some fencing in-house?)
- We’re developing a print mail catalogue to make it even easier for customers to get inspired
Winter Shop Hours at AVO Fence & Supply
Note that as of November 19th, our winter shop hours are in effect. For the winter months we concentrate our staff and people power in Stoughton where you can find us open Monday - Friday from 8am- 4pm.
- Plymouth branch office and shop yard is closed until spring
- Hingham branch office and shop yard is open through mid-late December
- Stoughton headquarters and showroom is open Monday- Friday, 8am-4pm all winter long
